Lymphatic massages, also known as lymphatic drainage massages or lymph massage, are a gentle form of massage therapy that stimulates the lymphatic system to improve the circulation and drainage of lymphatic fluid throughout the body. This can help to remove toxins, reduce swelling, improve immune function, and relieve pain and discomfort caused by lymphatic-related conditions such as lymphedema, chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia, and others. Lymphatic massages typically involve soft, rhythmic, pumping or circular movements over the skin, and are usually performed by trained massage therapists, lymphedema therapists, or other healthcare professionals who specialize in lymphatic therapy. These massages may be recommended as a standalone treatment or as part of a larger lymphatic treatment program, depending on the individual needs and goals of the patient.
